Magnetic properties of TbxY1-xCu2 compounds at low temperatures

Title: Magnetic properties of TbxY1-xCu2 compounds at low temperatures
Authors: Luong, N.H.; Duc, N.H.; Hien, T.D.
Abstract: Magnetisation and susceptibility measurements are reported for the pseudobinary intermetallic
compounds TbxY1-xCu2 (x = 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9 and 1). Metamagnetic behaviour was observed at low
temperatures in this system, except for Tb0.1Y0.9Cu2. The critical magnetic field and the N??el temperature
smoothly decrease with increasing Y content. The temperature dependence of the magnetisation of TbCu2
was studied. The interaction parameters between Tb3+ ions were determined for the compounds
investigated. ?? 1982.

Magnetic properties of RCu2 (R = Dy, Ho, Er) and DyxY1-xCu2 compounds

Title: Magnetic properties of RCu2 (R = Dy, Ho, Er) and DyxY1-xCu2 compounds
Authors: Hien, T.D.; Luong, N.H.; Duc, N.H.; [et al.]
Abstract: The low field temperature dependence of the magnetization of some RCu2 (R=Dy, Ho, Er)
compounds has been measured under hydrostatic pressures up to 5 kbar. Apart from the antiferromagneticparamagnetic
transitions additional transitions have been observed for HoCu2 and ErCu2 below their N??el
temperatures. For the DyxY1-xCu2 compounds the dependence of the N??el temperature on the Y content
has been determined. The results are discussed in the RKKY model. ?? 1983.
