Phan, Thị Tình
We always think that there should be a closed relation between studies and teaching foreign languages. The description of a foreign language is very useful in class. For instance, it will provide teachers with necessary, precise and full knowledge about the language they are teaching. It could be said that the studies and description of foreign language contribute greatly to improve the quality of language teaching. For this reason, through this article, we wish to introduce our opinion, our new methodology of studying foreign language (created in 2000) and our proposals related to grammar teaching. These proposals could be at first applied to French class in French Department, College of Foreign Languages, Vietnam National University.

<description>Trợ động từ avoir và être trong tiếng pháp xét dưới góc độ ngữ nghĩa và một số hệ quả sư phạm
Vũ, Thị Ngân
In French, a composite verb is normally formed with one of the auxiliary verbs “AVOIR” and “ETRE”. Most of these verbs are with “AVOIR”, and only 0,3% are with “ETRE”. From general remark on the function of AVOIR and ETRE as significative verbs, this article analyses the role of these words as auxiliary verbs in forming grammatical meaning of verbs in past composite tense. Given the particularity of the function of each verb, each auxiliary verb above will have different influences to the grammatical meaning of the sentence, and consequently may make the sentence carry different meanings.
