Prof.Dr. Trinh Thi Mai Hoa Research purposes: Based on the analysis and evaluation of the interactions between bank credit and small and medium enterprises in Bac Ninh province, the thesis suggests solutions to provide better conditions for small and medium enterprises to obtain bank credit so they can exploit and improve their potentials and conditions favorable for contribution to the development of Bac Ninh’s economy to soon raise it to an industrial province level. • To systematize and to find out some theoretical factors about small and medium enterprises and bank credit impact on them. • To analyze the impacts of bank credit on small and medium enterprises and their contributions to develop of Bac Ninh’s economy as well as their difficulties in obtaining bank loans. • To suggest some basic solutions to provide better conditions for small and medium enterprises so that they can get bank loans. New contributions: • To evaluate the situation objectively and to provide an in- depth look on the credit relation between the banks and the small and medium enterprises with their strong points and weak points. • To suggest some solutions to develop credit worthiness for small and medium enterprises in Bac Ninh province.
