Abstract:

After the Earth Summit on Environment and Development at Rio de Janeiro in 1992 and the World Summit on Sustainable Development at Johannesburg in 2002, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development has become the global developmental strategy.
Based on analyzing contents of the Summits, strategies and action plans of some international organizations (IUCN); Agenda 21, national strategies and action plans of Vietnam on environmental protection and biodiversity, the author summarized main results on training and research achieved by CRES in the past period and proposed orientations for CRES activities in the future |
