Một số dẫn liệu mới về thành phần loài Ếch nhái (Amphibia) và Bò sát (Reptilia) của Vườn Quốc gia Bạch Mã, tỉnh Thừa Thiên – Huế

Abstract

A survey on herpetofauna was conducted in Bach Ma National Park during period from 4 to 14 October 2003. Based on the result of this survey, 15 species of reptiles belonging to 6 families, 2 order and 25 species of amphibians belonging to 5 families, and 1 order were recorded in this area. The survey found 22 new species that increase the total number of species from 49 to 71. There are 2 new species were described based on the collected materials of this survey, including Horned bubble-nest frog (Philautus supercornutus) and Taboo frog (Rana khalam). There are 17 threatened species including 4 species listed in the Governmental Decree No 48/2002/ND-CP (2002), 3 species listed in Red Data Book of Vietnam (2000) and 5 species listed in IUCN Red List (2004). Eight species are endemic in Vietnam.
