dc.description.abstract We always think that there should be a closed relation between studies and teaching foreign languages. The description of a foreign language is very useful in class. For instance, it will provide teachers with necessary, precise and full knowledge about the language they are teaching. It could be said that the studies and description of foreign language contribute greatly to improve the quality of language teaching. For this reason, through this article, we wish to introduce our opinion, our new methodology of studying foreign language (created in 2000) and our proposals related to grammar teaching. These proposals could be at first applied to French class in French Department, College of Foreign Languages, Vietnam National University. vi
