Abstract

This article, based on President Ho’s actual teachings, to his cadres on how to communicate with the broad masses, presents one small aspect of President Ho’s linguistic strategy, used in revolutionary activities. The article specifically presents what lies behind President Ho’s specific teaching, his request for a language strategy in revolutionary involvement, his insistence on how to take the needs of the listeners (who are the broad masses) into consideration, how to ensure the direction of fit for the utterance and on relevance as a criterion in conversational strategy
