Abstract: The paper deal with some problems concerning the Japanese occupation in Vietnam during the Second World War: Gives a general introduction o the relationships between Japan and the French Indochina, especially her relation to the Vietnamese nationalist moverment before the Second World War; Concentrates to analyze the main charateristics of the Japanese-French collaboration and co-ruling in Vietnam...; The Coup d'deta(Meigo Sakusen) became unavoidable, especial after August 1944, as World War turned against the Axis and the government headed by De Gaulle was established in Paris
