dc.description Results obtained: The study completely assesses the process of banking system reforms in Vietnam and China. There is a comparable analysis of successes and failures of the two countries’reforms. Based on the analysis, several solutions are suggested to stimulate the progress of Vietnam banking system reform more effectively, in order to meet nowadays integrated economy requirements. The study is presented in 130 pages, uses more than 60 references, and is divided into three parts as the following: • Part I: Vietnam Banking System Reform • Part II: China Banking System Reform • Part III: Comparative study and suggested solutions for Vietnam The project “Banking system reform in Vietnam and China- Comparative research and lessons for Vietnam” has excellent theoretical and practical values. The study will be good reference for sub-topics lectures as well as thesis’ topic options for banking and finance graduate and undergraduate students. vi
