New Zealand ASEAN Scholars awardsempower future leaders with the knowledge, skills and qualifications to contribute to economic, social and political developmentwithin ASEAN nations.
The New Zealand Government, through the New Zealand Aid Programme, provides scholarships for qualified students from Vietnam to undertake development-related studies at a university or polytechnic in New Zealand.
Successful applicants are entitled to return air travel, full tuition fees, an establishment allowance upon arrival in New Zealand, and a living allowance to cover day to day costs.
Applications from Vietnam close on 29th July 2011 for study beginning in early 2012.
