Abstract: This writing refers to a research on international co-operation provisions of the criminal procedure laws of Vietnam prevailing from the post August Revolution to the introduction of the 2003 Criminal Procedure Code, the second compilation, (1945-2003). By a scientific analysis, the author highlighted the most basic and essential features of criminal procedure provisions relating to international cooperation mentioned in various international conventions on judicial/legal assistance that Vietnam signed with other countries during the afore-said period.
