On a method of formation of surface wave structures using for strip antennas

Abstract

A method of formation of surface wave structures for slow wave antennas was investigated. The calculation of dispersion properties of these wave structures was conducted using the boundary conditions method. The results show that the value of relative surface impedance of proposed structures can be obtained in the range of 1?3 depending on the value of capacitors loaded into the metallic strips.
