| Abstract: | The means by which humans interact with computers continues to evolve rapidly. The research on processing of Vietnamese including synthesis and recognition of Vietnamese is a contribution to this domain. In this paper, we present the method for building a synthesizer of Vietnamese with unlimited vocabulary. Vietnamese is a tonal language with six different tones. A database with non-tonal Vietnamese diphones was built and the Vietnamese words with or without tone will be synthesized. This helped us reduce the size of database. We have realized successfully this synthesizer of Vietnamese using SH7760 T-engine as an embedded system and this realization will be described in detail. © 2006 IEEE. |
