Abstract: Nd25Fe30Co30Al10B5 samples with various thicknesses were prepared by rapidly quenching method. Coercivity of the alloy varies in a range from ∼2 to ∼23kOe with varying the quenching rate, while saturation magnetization of the alloy nearly remains unchanged at about 60emu/g. Thermomagnetization curve of the alloy is clearly influenced by the quenching rate. © 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
