| Abstract: | Lexical Functional Grammar (LFG) is a multi-structure grammar that allows analyzing and generating natural language in syntactic, semantic, functional aspects and so on. This paper establishes a framework of LFG for Vietnamese (VLFG). The Vietnamese LFG may be useful for machine translation (MT) and other natural language processing (NLP) applications. Main focus of this research is concentrated in syntactic and functional structures and relation between them. © 2009 IEEE. |
