• Review the fundamental theories on natures and roles of foreign capital inflows toward developing economies, the relationship between types of capital inflows
• Analysis of features of foreign capital inflows in developing economies in the period during 2001 and 2005

Pointed out the relationship between types of foreign capital inflows:
• Examined the positive as well as adverse impacts of foreign capital inflows toward the economies of developing countries.
• Reviewed the real situations of foreign capital attracting in developing economies in the period during 2001 and 2005.
• Reviewed the real situation of foreign capital inflows in Vietnam in the period during 2001 and 2005 and the prospect in the period during 2006 and 2010.
• Drawn lessons from developing economies and suggested policies in attracting and adjusting the foreign capital for Vietnam.
