Abstract:
Caridina clinata, a new species of atyid shrimp, is described from northern Vietnam. The new
species is characterised by a short, sloping rostrum which reaches to or slightly exceeds the distal margin of
the basal antennular segment, the shape of the sexual appendages, and its large egg size.
