Abstract:

The article deals with followings:
- Landscape pattern analysis: Dak Lak and Dak Nong territories have divided by 12 landscape ecology regions. This is the base units for propose projects of coffee-rubber crop development.
- The integrated ALES-GIS model in landscape evaluation, based on traditional landscape/land-evaluation method and modern GIS technology. The results show that: there are 279,764 ha suitable for coffee crop, 45,000 ha for rubber crop.
- These study results are necessary for adjustment of land use planning for cultivated crops growing in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces. These provinces can be cultivated 209,164 ha for coffer crop, and 45,000 ha for rubber crop.
The results of study may be an important data source for economic development planning in Dak Lak and Dak Nong provinces until 2010. |
